Hello and welcome to my practice, Eightfold Therapy! I am a licensed mental health counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Some of my favorite clients to work with are those who have OCD or other anxiety disorders like panic attacks, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety, skin-picking or hair-pulling, ADHD, and parenting concerns (hopefully not all at the same time, although if so, you are still more than welcome here)! I received my master's degree in Child & Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington and I completed my practicum training at an intensive outpatient program for OCD. I received my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Antioch University and now serve as adjunct faculty at Seattle University and Heritage University. Additionally, I have been practicing meditation for almost 30 years and teach a weekly drop-in meditation class. My clinical approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and mindfulness based interventions.
